Default Huge Debt Payoffs - Examples of How Others Triumphed!

Huge debts, paid off fast - MSN Money

After reading this I realized that I am able to trim down a lot more myself even after I thought I trimmed a lot already. Just thought others might find this interesting and motivational.

I'm already past the debt stage. 5 months ago I was sitting in 9k CAD in debt. With some budgeting that I've done and money from stocks that I kept from my previous retail job, I was able to pay it all off and save enough money to take a week off in December and buy all the presents.

Now I'm planning to start saving so I'll have to research the best approaches for that.

Anyways, enjoy the article.

Default Thanks for the article!

Very good article...they mentioned a book in there about the Total Money Makeover which I bought, started to follow, then neglected to follow it after my wife and I received a $30,000 windfall insurance payout. This got us into bad habits again. This only works if you can focus on it and stick with it!

I agree, you may read books, take out consolidation loans, credit counselling or whatever, but its always down to your spending habbits; if you can't change them, you'll get back into debt sooner or later..
