I'm currently in the senior year of highschool. I'd like you to compare the jobs vs. schools from the point of view Steve has on jobs, meaning that they're anti-freedom(yeah, grammar I know) like you always have to worry how your boss thinks about you. Isn't it the same with schools, since you can expelled by insulting the teacher after he instulted you first. What makes him more WORTHY than you? It may be a harsh example(again, grammar), but you know what I mean.

If your teachers are verbally abusing students, this is not normal. Change schools! Working for someone vs being self employed: these are both "jobs". You have to earn a living somehow. If you're self-employed, you won't have one boss but you will have clients who will act like bosses. That's just the way it is. Working for someone vs self employed: either way you need the education/skills to do the profession you desire. This depends on the career path you choose. There is nothing inherently wrong from furthering your education. |
