Choosing a business name: place your vote

I am currently in the process of developing my business plan for my small business

My business provides training coaching workshops and seminars which deal with self development and self confidence.


The Self development workshops feature 2 day courses
All courses have a core provision of self confidence which is then directed to a chosen subject focus
The different subject focus are

• Rock solid Confidence
• Developing natural social skills
• Life Coaching

Looking for people to to vote on my name choices

Confidence Training Services - A good direct description
Confidence Training Center - gives the appearance of a larger business also nice initals CTC

Confidence Training Services Center- sounds a little big long

I'm considering adding some business type workshops later on such as leadership, team working, Networking
but these are not part of the initial line

Just a few questions in regards to the name?

Who are you aiming to sell to? Businesses or private persons?
It matters for the name what people like better...

Are you going to them, do you work from an office, or at peoples homes?
Your name influences what people expect from you

What level of personal development en confidence training are you giving? Do you have a licence to do so?
Your name creates expectations, if they are not met you will loose clients very fast.

I think the center name is best, but it depends on answers to the questions above.

Out of these I voted for CTC.. it sounds most profesional and solid. But with that you will need to look at this business very very seriously I guess. I'd try to think off some new names CTC would be a back up plan

"Confidence Training" sounds very blunt to me. Training is a formal word so it suggests that they will learn the technical aspects of confidence (which we all "get" but can't always put to use) rather than attaining it naturally, in a way that just comes easily.

Consider:
Natural Confidence Workshop
Life Skills Workshop
Life Confidence Workshop

...you see what I'm getting at? Something softer, to compliment Confidence but also shows the benefits too. Unless you are going for business clients as someone pointed out, in which case Confidence Training Center may be more appropriate for sales men and the like.

Make sure that whichever business name your choose you also make sure to register the domain name that corresponds with the business name (i.e. confidencetrainingcenter.com). If it is not available to register then maybe that may help you decide to choose another business name where the domain name is available for you to register.

I voted before I read your first post.

The names sounded like a business that works with individuals who want to increase their confidence. I was surprised to learn that your business will train life coaches. Nothing in your suggested names suggests that.




It is somewhat confusing to me.

For me all three lack something.

'Confidence training <whatever>' doesn't say anything about what type of trainings I could do. It might be IT training, or finance, etc!

Something like 'Confidence personall development workshops' or 'Confidence Coaching' would work better for me.
