I make $500 each month from Improve Vision Natually (not hosted by SBI, but using all the same principles) and that was launched last October. There's more info about this in another SBI thread here: Who ordered SBI back in March and has succeeded with it?

...You should say whilst every now and again...true Brit speak! I am going to write up some pages using brainwave entrainment and biaural beats as keywords...THANKS! for the inspiration...these fit into my "inducing consciousness" tier-two nicely. I also see that I need to "clean up" my messy linking method and put all my links "in text" instead of set off by themselves near the bottom of the page...i guess people assume a sales pitch down there... Also, if my buy your hubby's template...can I still use my current banner graphic?...I'm not ready to spend $250 yet, but I could probably handle $49 for the template. THANKS! Jeff "Yooper" Smith

Here is an example for your page: how-to-say-thank-you-to-your-boss-15-effective-ways Your First and most important keyword is boss... I plugged "boss" into my Master Keyword List to check it's supply and demand numbers to see if you could win it and if winning it would be worth it... boss Demand=68634 Supply=350681 196 Looks like there is al ot more supply for this keyword...that is lots of pages that use that keyword...than there is demand...(people searching for that word) so this page would not score well and generate a lot of taffic from search engines because of simply supply and demand issues... So SBI gives you the tools and the training to let you "tweek" this article and use the right keywords that have high demand and low supply and therefore a highly potential for profit... That is a little example of what SBI can do you...you can read the whole action guide for free and learn all you want about SBI before you make the decison to buy... SBI! Action Guide Hope this helps! Jeff "Yooper" Smith

Yes, I am using SBI! right now and they provide 25 Word Tracker searches to use for brainstorming keywords that have good supply and demand ratios. $60 per month is a complete waste of money. That is $720 per year, which is much more than the entirety of Site Build It at $300 per year. Also, SBI! has a special deal with WordTracker that allows any SBI user to order 100 more keyword searches for only $20. This is a profound value compared to $60 per month. I have already established my website and begun making a small weekly income, and I have only used a total of 13 keyword searches. You do not even need more than the 25 SBI starts you with.

thanks Curtis. well I blog and as of now I am not into marketing. I saw rebecca site and its very nice. However its on selling side with lot of effort done. My case it relates to personal development with a focus on your professional life. The keywords are generic and only some make it to top of search engines. In 2 months my traffic had grown to 60 unique and 200 pageviews. I have studied lot of SEO and keyword startegy too. Tool of wordtracker is definately good but somehow I am not sure what it does. So.....rather than investing 300 bucks i might invest 60, do searches for year or so and get out. My main concern was if I am doing someting different. Wordtracker has their own teaching program which I plan to take. (not sure when becauseoffice is hectic nowadays) Finally, thnaks to all for answering my questions. I might jump again if something goes above my head. Smith, thanks for the manual. |

Hey there sanjay. Yes, of course it is possible to earn $500 per month. Just look at Steve Pavlina, earning $x,000's per month with his website. That alone should be proof. The biggest "problem" is not that making the money is not possible, it's that it takes lots of time and dedication to keep building your website and online business despite not making any or much money at first. For instance, I started with SBI! about 2.5 months ago, and I currently make about $5 US every week. That is about $20 per month, or $240 per year. Not much, I know. However, thanks to SBI!'s wonderful strategy, my website has been growing its number of daily visitors about 2.5x per month since I started. And my income is directly proportional to my visitor number. If I am willing to put in the time and work that it takes to keep growing at that rate, I expect to be making $100's per month by the end of the year. It's all about dedication, hard work, and a plan that works. SBI! is the plan that works. You have to provide the hard work and dedication.

thanks curtis for your reply. i am agree with you that you have to do the hard work on consistent basis. can you tell me how many hours you spend on this online business. i am asking this because i am working in company and curious that is it possible for me to spend enough time to build online business. so i am curious how much work and time it require regularly to reach at the level of US$ 100.00 per month. sanjay sharma, india

Hey guys and girls, I'm wondering what kinda of switch overs people have done with SBI? I got a friend to build this site (so its obviously not with SBI now...) for my dad's new business [Jade - The Wellbeing Centre */ *Massage Therapy, Darwin NT] Now i (and most people i know) love the look and layout of the site, but business is slow. I want to get more hits on the site and wonder if there is anything maybe my dad could do (maybe write a blog of some sort??) to get more hits and either enter into product sales or referals, and hopefully more foot traffic into the store. Thanks for any advice! |

Hi everyone I came across the concept of SBI sites yesterday and Im definitely considering it in the future but I have some questions What exactly is the payment method? Is there one set price and you pay that off after a while, or is there always a cost when using SBI? Should I wait until I've finished school or is it easy enough to start now? (year 11) What exactly is the hardest part ? |

After your first year, you can break down the annual cost by paying in monthly installments, and cancel at any time. If your site is a success, you will easily make back the money you paid on membership. If you want to transfer it to a different host and stop paying SBI, you can do that too. As an SBI user, I think it is very well priced considering what you get out of it. Quote:
If people fail with SBI, its usually for one of two reasons: - they didnt follow the instructions - they got bored and gave up on their site If you can handle that, you will succeed with SBI.

Rebecca, that last post really hit the nail on the head especially why people fail when using such an almost fail-proof approach to building their online business like SBI I think some people have desires that are much bigger than their current abilities, in fact I am one of them this is why I chose SBI, because from over 20 years of experience of running offline businesses I have understood one thing completely to succeed at anything you have to be willing to do one very important thing ...LEARN if this is not done on a daily basis, most likely long term success will elude you |

It might work better if per category (or sub category) you could add the number of sites in that category. Prevents me from clicking on empty categories. Alternatively, add categories only if there's at least one site in that category.

You should also begin an inbound link building program. Get as many inbound links to your homepage as possible from relevant, high quality websites and blogs. Do not engage in link farms. Submit your site to free online directories with a PR3+, starting with Dmoz.org and then working your way through Strongest Links. Submit your hompage and best articles to a handful of decent social network sites... StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, Facebook, Twitter, etc, etc. Get your friends to do it too. Only submit articles that are worth the attention. The idea is you get noticed by a few others, they bookmark you, and the snowball effect kicks in. You can get thousands of spontaneous hits this way. That's just for starters... but it'll get you going. I don't have any experience of SBI switch overs but do recommend you read the Action Guide for free to see where you may have missed out, then make a decision if you want to transfer. You have a great looking site... now comes the hard part - traffic Remember it takes time to get recognized by the search engines. I don't mean getting indexed, but really making your mark. Lots of interesting content = lots of reasons for people to visit you. Keep plugging away. keep learning new tricks. You'll get there

bigsleep55, Rebecca gave you some great advice as far as increasing traffic. As a chiropractor of 20 years who has helped start and consult massage practices, I would like to mention that even though your business has an online presence it is not exclusively an online business. Your website can be a great asset to increasing your exposure and you can always monetize with products, but ultimately you want people in your store buying your services. You didn't ask for offline marketing advise so I will try not to give it. As far a website perspective, if you want that to be a big part of your marketing you need a reason for existing clients to come to your site as well as new visitors. You web site can help keep your existing clients excited and engaged in your business. A blog would be great. You could have a referral contest and keep score on line with a great prize for the winner.Great articles about health, or something that relates to your business. With clients permission, mention their birthdays and accomplishments on line. Create a family. Have existing clients print off a coupon for a discount or some extra gift so that they go to your website before coming in for their next appointment. Just think of a lot of reasons why they should visit your site often. Anyway, just a few ideas. Hope you are not offended if I offered advise that you didn't ask for. I just get really passionate about helping natural health related businesses. Good luck to you.

I'm seriously considering signing up for SBI. At the moment I'm getting my "internal ducks in a row," so to speak (basically, that means I'm doing research, making sure that SBI is right for me, and pondering what it is I want and need from a website platform). I'd very much appreciate it if you could answer some questions for me.
I figured I'd ask these questions publicly, since I'm sure many people could benefit from the answers to those questions. To give some context to my questions... To explain a bit about my situation, I'm already tech-savvy enough to launch a website without SBI, and I can learn the rest as needed; however, (1) the tools SBI comes with, (2) the completeness of the education, and (3) the access to support resources (i.e. forums, and being able to contact SBI) are reason enough for me to seriously consider SBI over alternatives (such as Wordpress). That said, I'm pretty sure I'd eventually break off from SBI and transition to Wordpress, simply because Wordpress offers much more flexibility (unless I'm mistaken. I guess you could say the flexibility is potentially available with SBI, but when you consider that Wordpress has plugins available, I think Wordpress comes out as the platform that offers more flexibility, more easily--although I may be wrong! I've no experience with SBI, so I can't say. It wouldn't be a surprise to me if I was wrong. I know the automation aspect of SBI is definitely nice, and something Wordpress lacks). Edit, 21 May 2009: I learned yesterday that you can actually host a Wordpress blog when using SiteBuildIt, so that's handy. That said, it's not so great doing it that way, since you lose a lot of the nice automated features SBI offers. SBI has me thinking about a good way to build a website--i.e. as more of a "blog", or as more of a highly structured resource. I've always loved the idea of blogging, but I'm kind of thinking "what might be a better format for the end user?" Blogs may conform to convention, but I think there's things you can learn from the SBI, "structured resource" way of doing things. Anyway, that's just something I've been musing about. I'd probably still stay signed up to SBI to make use of their tools (if they allow that in their user agreement), but I don't have a long-term interest in using their platform (although I may reconsider that... we'll see). Anyway, that's the context I'm coming from. If you answer my questions, thanks for your time.
