Default The other side of laid off

Laid Off, I have been laid off. I get to actually cook my kids breakfast I get to Pack them a healthy awesome lunch Then I get to drive them to school, instead of the school bus Then I am free to do what ever my heart desires: Music, surfing, interviewing, writing, cooking, and baking. We have clean sheets and beautiful hardwoods, soft towels and real food. I meet my kids at the door after school. I have time for a workout that really makes me feel powerful! I take Long soaks in the clawfoot. I Dance, when I have the house to myself. I Actually have time to pursue my passions. I have time to help with homework The grades are going up Supper is on the table by 5:30 P.M. I have a really really awesome volunteer job. I love working on my land, planting living things with my hands. So what do you think? Am I dreaming? Could I make it any better? I am up for ideas.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Congrats, if your days are filled with happy faces, you are rich. You do not have to relentlessly pursue personal development or aspire to be the next Mother Theresa to have a fulfilling life.

You said it yourself: "Laissez les bon temps rouler" . et pourais je ajouter liberte. Welcome to freedom land. I really like your attitude and your enthusiasm. God had better things for you to do and you are doing right now.

Nice! You may want to read Your Money or Your Life. It talks about the role of money in your life. One person actually was happier and had more money, ironically, after quitting his full-time job and getting a part-time job closer to home. You may consider doing that, depending on your financial situation?
