Default When all else fails Steve says marry a geek

Hi everyone.
The title of this thread may indicate my frustration at trying to get all the right links to work on my fledgling website. This is the year when I set up my internet business and start to fly. But where do I find the nice geek to help me with my website? What I want is a marketing style site, not just a pretty face.

I am using Front Page. But so far I'm having no luck attaching the right files in the right place to be able to accept PayPal and 2CO. Yes, I know it's really basic stuff. But, there you are. I'm stuck. Blank wall.

Anyone else been here? What did you do? I really want to sit down with someone and watch what they do.

I live on a farm in rural Victoria and haven't found anyone who markets online. The web designers I have contacted don't seem to know much about marketing sites, they don't "do" links to shopping carts etc.

I wish visualizing this person would manifest them into my reality. Hmm. Do you think I should try that???

Sure, but be prepared to pay them for their time!

The very fact that somewhere in your mind you came up with the idea to perhaps visualize the right person to help you coming into your life is exactly the reason you should do it. Even though you might think it unlikely that you will bump into someone in rural Victoria who will know how to help you, the world is a strange place and anything is possible.

I am an Aussie living in Thailand and last year I started up my own website and I knew very little about computers but once I needed help it just seemed to come my way when I hoped it would.

Good luck with the visualization and your website.

John

frontpage paypal - Google Search
(Google search; some of the results are listed here)

1-2-3 PayPal Website Payments for Microsoft FrontPage (plugin for FrontPage)
Website Editing Tools - PayPal (links to the above)
PayPal and FrontPage (links to below)
http://www.frontpageworld.com/paypal/PayWiz.exe (use it in Outlook)
The FrontPage Cart Companion - Provided by Jimco Add-ins (FrontPage Cart?)

Not sure if any of those will work since I've never used FrontPage.

I am married to someone with a Master's in Computer Science and my son is working on his Masters in C.S. I get more help from strangers! The shoemakers kids have no shoes. There is a free book available called "Rocket to Riches" which is mainly about Internet businesses and marketing and starting from scratch. You can download it for free by going to the web site God Is Ruler Of The Universe and clicking on the "money" link on the index/home page, then scroll to the bottom of the "money" page and the free download link is right there. Hope this helps!
