Yeouch! That site makes it sound like you might as well shrivel up and die if you have bad credit!

I know someone like that and yes. You might as well shivel up and die because unless you are Warren Buffet, you can't make 20% on average in your investments.

I think that's it.

Because earning money is so hard, the other way to enjoy life is not to spend it aimlessly or carelessly.

Being frugal is great. But I think learning to grow your money (be it setting up a side business, learning to invest) is more important. There is only so much you can save but the potential of making your money grow is so much higher.

Hi all.

Do you think that a student (ie someone that doesn't have a degree or working license or something...) can invest in something?

I'm not saying the 10 tips are bad. But you just got to love that final, programming statement. Even Dana Dratch at Bankrate.com has bills to pay and wants an income for herself.

I've been doing a lot of reading on debt and credit (because I need the help), and one reason that a lot of people don't attempt to seek help is the fact that articles like this come out...they make it sound like non-Buffetts are screwed but good, and that there's no chance to recover. I found it a bit disheartening compared to many other articles that I've read that really inspire you to fix things.

I like to look at it this way:

It is so EASY to earn $10,000, but so hard to waste it away!
