Default Don't put your passion souly on an online business

So many people here diside to focus there passion onto a content based website that they monitise... This is good. However It takes a while to get to a point of making enough money to live on from it... especially if your new to it!
There people then end up getting a dumb job until there website makes enough money to live off. Witch for many people might never happen as a website might not be the best creative output for you.
Why I am writing this is to encourage you to start a business instead of getting a job.. not all businesses take that long to start making money.. infact lots you can just start making money straight away!
My parents have always been self employed.. granted never in a good area that they were passionate about but still they were self employed.. This was because It was no big deal to them. They just do things that directly make money! My mum does hairdressing my dad engineering.. did it take them years to get to this point? No! Infact they started the first week of business. put out a few advertisements and then they were getting full time work almost straight away.
My suggestion is that you try this same technique but with more fulfilling work. Love to design? get your self out their advertise as a graphic designer! get an agent! Music? start a band and get pub gigs! my half brother does this full time! Personal development? Offer life coaching!
There are so many things you can do to make money by doing what you love you really DONT need to get a job.
My challenge for you is to figure out anything better than a job that you can do and put an advertisement for your services in your local newspaper.. or get listed online or go on elance.com or go to an agency! There is so much opportunity out there that you are missing by getting a job
Thanks.

I've been thinking of adding freelancing to my current responsibilities, but it'd have to be part-time at best-I really want to focus primarily on my site.
