Default I want to design and sell wacky t-shirts! But i have no idea how!

So I am a doodle enthusiast and an artiste extrordinaire and I want to plant some of my scribbles on people's chest. I want to be able to offer custom made designs too. The t-shirts would just be one standard color.

Has anyone had any success doing this? Any advice?

Have you checked into CafePress.com? It seems like it would be a great outlet for your creative expression with minimal investment on your part.

I've sold a few t-shirts on cafe press and I did absolutely no advertising. All were founded through search. Highly recommend cafe press.

I've tried Cafepress and another similar site, but I wanted something separate and very personalized so I didn't have to rely on too much external support.
Where to start?

I was gonna recommend that. I really love that site, though I don't know if it's the best for a serious designer. Probably is the best for a beginner/semi-serious person who wants to test the water, though.
