Default Tips on naming pages for SEO

site:everythingcornwall.com - Google Search
Here is a list of my sites pages that are indexed on google.. there names and meta descriptions. Latly i have lost so many visitors I don't know why! now im just getting a few clicks a day from search engines... all my traffic is coming from these forums! what am I doing wrong... they all have meta tags and I thought I named them well! have a look and tell me what im doing wrong! This has taken away my motivation to create new pages, as no one is looking at them anymore!
Thanks.x

I don't think that the problem is necessarily the SEO, but rather what people are searching for. If you search for accomodation in cornwall, things to do in cornwall, exploring cornwall, tourist attractions in cornwall and other phrases of that kind, your site isn't on the first page.

Start thinking like a tourist or local with nothing to do when visiting cornwall, and the sorts of things you would search for. Then build pages to optimise those search engine strings.

The other thing that might help is trying to get a partnership/link exchanges going with some of the accomodation sites. While this might be tricky, it is likely that you'll get more hits through targeted marketing, after all, if they are looking for accomosation in cornwall, they are likely to want to find things to do as well.

From the look of your site, here are some of the direct competitors.
Restaurants Pubs Places To Visit Childrens Activities Beaches Cornwall
Cornwall Guide - Holiday Information, Cornish History, Cornwall Accommodation, Restaurants, Art Galleries...
Cornwall Hotels - Cornwall Holiday Cottages - Cornwall B&B - Cornwall Campsites

Have a look at what they've done, even to the extent of running them through Website Grader and see what they've done right and then look at improving your site accordingly. After all, learning from things that are already there is a lot easier than doing it yourself.
