Getting my video production service going..

I tried adverts in local papers, flyers and emailing potential clients and offering to produce a video for little money to get started.

I am promoting a service for wedding dvds
Commercials for business websites
Hotel tour videos
property tour videos for people in the housing market

No inquiries and no replies from email.

How can I get this off the ground? I'm in the UK.

I've been on all sides of the business at one point or another. Have you shot any spec spots for commercials for a demo to put online?

No, I need to do some for free, I think. How to find volunteers though..

I sent emails to local estate agents offering to produce some video property tours for their clients to display online but recieved no reply.
