Google Adsense is doing well for me

I have google adsense and I think im doing pretty well with it i put ads on my site from the very start of when i made the site 3 months ago.. and in 3 and a bit months of my site i am up to $50 But the main thing for me is looking at each months earnings and noticeing how they are increaseing by about 20% each of the moths. I have almost made as much in the past 5 days as i did in the intrire last month also today i added a cupple of pages and added metatags to my site I thikn il make the $100 pay out in 2 months
Thing is im not that passonate about this site anymore other than useing it to get better at seo and useing adsense. So soon im going to start a second site witch i will be very passonate about. the good thing is They will both be on the same google adsense account so i will continue making money from my old site as I start my new one up
Im aiming to make 20 articles on my current site then compleatly leave it. I hope leaveing it updated wont effect how much money i make from it to much. Has anyone done this before? Would be nice to know what to expect. I hope i will get atleast what i was making before from it when i leave it
IM aiming for getting google ads to bring me atleast the minimum payout each month.
That would be nice Im not that bothered about making a huge amount from adsense and im not aiming to be a full time blogger or anything. Although I am going to leverage the internet to help me persue other things i want to do
Ok yeah just thought id tell you guys me experiance so far becuase it might motivate you. Or you could give me tips or somthing...

I'm afraid it's not that easy. Google will probably rank your site lower when it does not get updated. So you will receive less search engine hits. Only a problem if you get most of your traffic from search engines though.

Aww, i thought this might be a problem. Really websites arent passive income.
