Hi all. I'm a young guy with a tech education, looking to make money off the internet, preferably in Euros. Affiliate programs and other multi-level marketing seem the most straightforward ways to do that but most of the ways they are used (blogging, podcasting, videoblogging etc.) are very inconvenient for me as they require a steady effort while my free time comes in bursts. I can't commit to spending 10 hours a week writing articles. One week I can do nothing and another I will have 20 hours of free time. I'm ready to put in a lot of work but whatever method I use it has to allow for the work to come in spurts. Anyone have some good ideas? |

I wasted lots of time on Multi Level Marketing and suggest you stay away from that crap. And I don't speak from lack of experience: I was involved with the industry for years, and even did ok for a while. Never again, though. I've hung out with some of the absolute top MLM people in Europe and only one of them is still involved with that retarded business model. All others have left. MLM works great in theory. Why? The theory is seriously flawed. I still have these flaky (most of them are) MLM folks after me on a daily basis, but tell them to kindly stay away from me. I wish I had done that from day one. There are lots of opportunities to make money online, but they all require work, of course. I make a little money every month online, but I'm no expert so the only advice I can give you is this: Be careful who you get your advice from, because most of it isn't very good. And don't buy a lot of e-books, they are usually very poor value. With online businesses it's very much like other businesses: Have a great idea and work that idea like a madman. And forget about 'get rich' programs, because they ALL suck. There are tons of charlatans out there who are eager to share wih you their advice on making money way before they've made any themselves. If you can only work in bursts perhaps creating a good product to sell on clickbank or something is your best bet, but that depends on how good a product you can create, of course. Blogging for money is certainly going to be hard, it's hard enough even for those who do have a lot of time on their hands. And if you start out blogging with your main motivation being money, you're facing some seriously bad odds. |
