Default Stocks and investing

Some1 asked about stocks and to tell them everything they need to know..i just "laughed out loud"

First of all, that's like saying give me the secret to investing and trading.

I'll tell you right now this road to stocks and trading is a road that never ends. If your thinking on beginning your walk or run or jog however you wanna call it, just now your in for a workout and a hell of a long journey.

even successful traders will tell you. This market is constantly changing and so will your investing and trading style.

I would start off with a dummies book, I have a list of some good books and its still growing

good luck on your adventure

Question

I'm entering into it with a $1000 for investing. Right now I'm trying to learn about forex, on a popular trading forum (Forex TSD| Metatrader Indicators and Experts Advisors) & to be honest it is very confusing. The link you posted is broken. Any tips for a newbie?

Buy Low, Sell High

Everything else revolves around that. Recognizing a Low Point and a High Point are the fundamental keys. There are a lot of stocks 'on sale' right now.

Forex is a game like the ones they have in a casino. Charlatans who sell 'How to get Forex-rich' stuff perpetrate the myth that it's a fairly reliable way to make money if you know what you're doing. It's not. Even those who know what they're doing have a hard time with it. And a staggering majority lose money. So think twice about that stuff even though you're playing with little money. And best of luck no matter what you end up doing.

Good advice. Buy when everyone else is running like ****.

Caveat: Buy the market (low cost index tracker) not individual stocks.

Caveat: Investing in the stock market is risky: primarily because their are lots of dirty bastards willing to lie, cheat, scam, misreport etc behind the scenes, for personal gain.
