Default Potential moneymachine?

I have recently started working on a site,www.FreeMasterKey.com which I hope to make a little money from when time is right.
It is newly published and has little content, but I have a plan for it.

I provide a book for free to draw traffic and with time I want to sell other books on the site. Mainly books about success and how to achieve it.

I would appreciate it if someone would give me an honest feedback and hopefully a few tips

Wow, nice looking website, very clean, and it was easy to understand the point, and where to sign up for the book.

I think it is a great idea, keep us posted on how it goes!

You will want to read up on copy, and the psychology of persuasion.

With a site that is selling ideas you have to provide value in the form of quality content. A good rule of thumb is to provide 10 times the value of the asking price of any product.

Not only does the site have to contain quality content, but you have to be able to sell that fact to the people quickly when they stumble across your site. That is where writing good copy comes in, and understanding how people buy.

Think of a site you have purchased informational products in the past. Go to their site, and break down their pages as to what makes it compelling to buy from them.

Thank you both for your thoughts.

I will take your tips and work to improve my copy and persuasion skills. English is not my native language though so it cost me alot to to improve.
Actually, thats exactly what i did. I came across a site, subscribed to their newsletter and later bought their products. Later I realised that I should be able to do the same myself. So here I am working on my new site.

I`ll add more content to it before I really start to work on attracting traffic. I really look forward to my first sell.

I also look forward to quiting my dayjob to work my own buisiness full-time.

Default Update

If anyone like to follow me I will be posting some updates about my site every now and then.

Since last time I have added a "viral" og "tell a Friend" function to my site. I hope many of my visitors and subscribers will spread the word about my site and the books of wisdom they might pick up for free. In return they will recieve another free book.

I have launched a so far small eBook-shop containing classical personal development books.

There is now also a contact page where visitors and customers can give me feedback and ask questions.

Please, take a look and give me some feedback on what I might improve here.

I checked out your site. It does feel a little empty. Fill it up with great content before you start marketing it. You might turn off the early visitors with not much content.

Also, I don't know if you're trying to make a mini-site or a full website. If you're planning to add content, widen up the site a little and add all sorts of good info. The selling comes after.
