| I am currently creating an energy drink product. I have all the ingredients and it works more effectively than anything in my opinion. Only problem is it tastes terrible! Very grainy, herbal taste. Like wheatgrass shots - yechh! So basically I'm looking for anyone who has ideas for covering up the taste or someone who has experience in this area (Bodybuilders and their shakes or anyone who has worked for a drink company) to give me a little advice. Thanks for all your input in advance P.S. I have already tried mixing it with the vanilla soda syrup off instructables.com - didn't work, it tasted great and then switched to complete grassy aftertaste. | Alas, you are experiencing the bane of many of health drink. I went through many, many green powders before finding one that didn't taste horrible... I have found that mixing it with apple juice and using some stevia works best for me however for the really nasty stuff, I use tomatoe juice since it's thicker it seems to hold stuff in suspension best and covers up the taste pretty good. | Howbaout BANANANAS? Chimps in the wild wrap green leaves around bannanas and eat it like a burrito. Scientist believe they do this for better absorption and because it taste better that way! The banana flavor cancels out the green taste. It's wonderful. |
