 |  multiple business ideas
I have several ideas for going self-employed but either one will probably not bring in enough work to fill the week. All together might be more promising and so I was thinking about getting them all up and running and drop the least favourable one if the other takes off. I am considering having them all under one name as not to complicate the paper work. Is this a good idea? I will be doing concierge services, courier, travel packages and video production. Again, each one might only bring in a trickle of work but combined I might be able to make ends meet. |

It should be possible to do that if you need to be registered anywhere (unless one of the businesses needs special licenses), but NEVER do that with customers! No one goes to the travel-courier-video-production shop and I don't think there's a section for that in the yellow pages. The only exception to this is if you can package different things into a complete solution for customers who need all of them.
