So what does this article mean then?

Advertising Age - FTC Rejects Call for Probe Into Word-of-Mouth Practices

It seems like this might be a bit of a grey area still, and how in the world would they enforce it anyway?

On my site in particular, it's basically all about affiliate marketing. I don't try to hide the fact that I'm an affiliate for several companies.

It sounds like they're trying to crack down on companies creating fake sites for their own products, such as Sony's recent "effort".

The FTC can suck my epidermis.

This is a violation of first amendment rights, and certainly not the first from them either.

The FTC needs to be shut down.... has everyone finally wised up and decided to vote libertarian yet? I mean, it's seriously about time, even just for economic reasons alone.
