Obopay, my review.

Obopay is a mobile money tool sponsored by Citi Bank. It can be used to send money to anyone via Cell phone, AIM or your blog/website. All you need is the recipients username or phone number.

When I originally joined Obopay back in 2007, I loved it. They were running a promotion where you got $10 free for signing up, so of course I did. But once I signed up, I realized it was much more than just a cell phone version of Paypal.

They instantly send you your debit card, there is no credit check AND the only fee's associated with the card are a $0.10 (per) transaction fee. Not bad at all compared to Paypal who pats you down before sending you a debit card, makes you wait SIXTY days before allowing you to APPLY for one and charges insane fees.

The Obopay Debit Card can be used anywhere plastic is accepted and can also be used at ATMs. Not only that but it's SUPER cute.

So my review? Obopay VS. other prepaid cards? Obopay beats out the competition with minimal fees and the convenience of sending money through multiple sources. It's completely safe and is sponsored by a major bank.
