 How do these websites make money? Some years ago I ran a little website for holiday rentals that I built myself. It didnīt make me a fortune but it make some money for me. I have become interested in doing something similar to this again do to some financial matter. I thought this time I would do house sales, car sales and business sales. I have checked on the net some existing sites doing this but was dismayed to find that most of them offered to list your property, car or business for free. Yes FREE! So, how do they make money out of these websites, because they would still have to pay for the webspace and all the work involved in running a website. By the way, their sites were not covered in adverts. So how does it work, how can you make money by doing things for free?      |

| advertsing hi, they must be getting paid for something or it is not a business. Maybe you should look at their links etc dave |

| It is a comman tactic to have your site completly free at the beginning and worry later when you actually have traffic about making money. One way would be to put everyone in the list and charging people to put their ad at the beginning of the list where it gets more eyeballs.

| Affiliate with the companys you want to work with.. thats how price conparason sites make money for example.
