| Hi all! While just having been on here briefly, I have found extremely helpful and knowledgeable people, that have made being here a pleasure. I am Jeremy, and if you don't know who I am, please, take a moment and find my mini-bio underneath the "Introductions" thread, where, you'll find out about me. Also, to more specifically find out about me, I started a thread under some category, and the thread was entitled "Who can help a guy with my passions?" ' Anyway, I wanted to put this out there. I have an E-Book that I have just about finished. It's aim is to help those, who have purchased products or services, and, for whatever reason, due to breaking, or disfunctionality, or any other reason, did not do as expected, and the company does not take care of it. An example would be that John Doe buys a round blue widget. This widget was promised to do X, but, in reality, it did Y. Well, John returns it, but, for whatever reason, the store doesn't give John his money back, or offer an exchange, or anything else to satisfy John. Or, John still buys the same widget. It breaks or stops working, and John goes back to the store. It should be covered, because of X reason, but, it is not, and the excuse of (warranty, abuse, or whatever else) is given, so, again, John has to chalk it up to experience. Normally, John may groan, moan, or whatever else, maybe to the store manager, and his friends, but, more often than not, John is stuck with his money spent, and his widget not satisfying him. I have a method, that I have used a number of times, not only for me, but, also for friends, that gets a satisfactory result, 4 out of 5 times (the 5th time would have worked, in my opinion, but, my friend, who had the issue, didn't pursue it any further.) It has worked on companies like Dell, HP, and Verizon. It even drew a response from Ford. I have written my EBook, and just about have it done. I am finishing it now, and then am going to do the final proofread, and then I will be done with it. I have a friend who is going to "donate" webhosting services, along with a domain name. All I have to do is finish it, go get a Biz license, get a tax Id #, the biz checking account, start a biz Paypal account, and go to selling. I am debating on how much to sell the Ebook for. It's going to run 15-20 pages, double spaced, probably. Originally, I was thinking around 8.95, but, someone else said that, usually, more expensive products produce higher volume of sales. I was then thinking about maybe upping the price to $17.87. Additionally, I was going to sell a "sample bundle" of 3 of my solutions for $4.95 originally, but, after the suggestion was made about charging more, $12.87. I was going to offer a "bundle" deal for $28.57, which included both. Also, I was going to offer a service that would quite possibly generate extra income. If one didn't want to use my product personally, but, wanted to use my services, I thought of charging $39-$49 for me to do the "leg work" for them, with the understanding that I'd receive 15% of the solution on the receiving of the solution. For example, if we're trying to receive a resolution for $1,000, if we receive a positive resolution, I'd receive an extra $150, on the back end. Anyway, please, let me know what you think. Also, suggestions, particularly about how to make it more profitable, are welcomed. Marketing may be difficult for me. I think I am going to write a few blogs, and also, go to a few message boards, and put little "blurbs" where people are complaining about certain products or services. Thanks again. Jeremy |

| You should charge according to the value you provide. Bumping up the price because somebody tells you the expensive products sell better doesn't seem to be in alignment with truth and honesty. At least you're willing to get a business licence, tax ID, etc., which is more than most people do. Just my opinion. Good luck to you.

| Well, I have to get all the Tax stuff. I have to have those to ethically be in business. How can I expect God to bless me supernaturally, if I am not faithful to His standards in the natural? Thanks. Let me add a question. For those that read this, what do you perceive the value of my product to be, on all 3 counts? Jeremy |
