 Business Networking - how do you best do it? What is your most effective (and your favorite, if different) way of networking in business? I've tried a few with various degrees of success (such as networking events, LinkedIn), and I wondered if any of you folks found particular methods better than others.

I guess that depends on the outcome you are looking for. If you are just trying to know people, I recommend trying to see what you can do for them. If you are looking to generate business, BNI has been the best way I have found. In general I think you should always be keeping in touch with people in some way. Keeping your name on the top of their mind is the best way to guarantee that you are going to be called when they need the product or service you offer. Face to face meeting is the best however.
