| I am going to start a new blog and I'm thinking of hosting it on WordPress.com to save money and time. How reliable is WordPress.com? Is this a bad idea? If I get good traffic will the site freeze-up? |

| I know- wordpress is excellent to use, very easy, but it is cutting out advertising. This creates more appeal for the users however that makes it harder for the bloggers to create an income from blogging with wordpress. |

I think I will write at least 25-50 quality articles before I start paying for a hosting service. Then I will set up the blog with ads and affiliate links, then I will start promoting the blog and release 2 articles a week. Is that a good plan? |

| What do you want to blog about? Having your own domain names says something about yourself. It's more professional. Do you want to be seen as professional?

| I've had some bad experiences with 1&1. Most specifically in their support, or lack thereof. It was really difficult for me to connect with an actual human being with whom to work through my web-struggles regarding the site I had with them. It was my first experience with a website, a web-host, and everything, so I had no idea what to expect. Apparently, my expectations were pretty low, because I tolerated them for way too long. Once I switched, I couldn't believe how easy it could be with the right web-hosting company and appropriate support. Check out MacHighway (and no, you don't need to be using a Mac).
