| I can't stand no follow tags. They punish legit niche websites such as mine because of all the good for nothing spammers out there!! Please visit my website (listed in my signature) and tell me how I can get some legit do follow links.. (I am constantly working on the content of the site BTW...) Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

| But Jessica, how exactly nofollow tags punish you and help the spammers? They point is exactly to prevent spam. Yes, taking links get harder due to nofollow, but you can be sure if there was no nofollow, the spammers would quickly get even more links than you. |

| There's actually a very easy way to get around no-follow links - create a great site that people like so much they link to it without being paid. For example, if someone is interested in the subject how can you make the site so interesting, informative, and compelling that they want to write a blog post about it? |

| If you write comments with the intent to get a link it's a good thing that you don't at many places because of no-follow links.

Here's a tip: your signatures are always very on the nose, very "visit my site OR ELSE!!!" Might I suggest you try a subtler tack? I for one tend to avoid the links in your signatures, precisely because they beckon me so loudly. (hint: I get a ton of visitors from this forum - without the screaming!) You can thank over a decade of ignoring internet advertising for that... Here's another thing: try to look at your content from a reader's perspective. It's in simple things... your site mentions sugar gliders, but I had to google to get a picture. At that point, you've lost me as I'm now on wikipedia reading about those creatures instead. Ask yourself the hard questions: why would people read this? what do they really get from it? etc.

| VetTechJess, a few months ago, I clicked a link to one of your web sites. Result? I got a virus alert that said a virus was attempting to download from your site to infect my pc. I'd suggest to anyone reading this: If you've visited VetTechJess's sites, be sure to run a virus check on your computer. |
