I am working on a new project. I am going to have some Chemistry classes, for the next two semesters or so. Since I know little about Chemistry (I haven't had it since my junior year of high school), I decided to try to do some research over the summer. I've learned a lot already, but decided to attempt to memorize what I can of the periodic table. Obviously I can't refer to it in print, and I'm not so sure if I can get one in braille (I used to have one but not sure what happened to it), not to mention that'd be rather inconvenient. So, I'm working on that, but decided to make an application to quiz me on it. I could select difficulty, or else it would adjust the difficulty as I got better. I have several quiz types in mind, some of which would allow one to even select what type of question one wants, and on which data one should be quizzed. It can be anything from the very easiest of questions to unimaginably difficult, depending on what you choose or how far you want to go. Also I think tests may be exported for use in memorization / flashcard software. Anyway, I think people may hopefully be interested in such a program. But I'd love to receive more suggestions for it. I'm making it either way, because it'll be useful for myself, because I need to do this, otherwise fear being at a disadvantage. I'll be adding the most basic things first so that I can study with it immediately, but will be adding stuff as I get the time. I already started on it, but am working on the admin section right now to add the actual element data. I guess it's a good summer project, since otherwise I don't have much to do. Anyway, I'd apreciate any suggestions you might have. I don't want to give too much information on what I've already come up with, but will fill in gaps as necessary. |

hmmm, mnemonics will help you a lot in chemistry, just search google for tips or tricks. Such things can be found online for free. Leitner system will provide you with what you want. ^^ and SuperMemory program. You can do it. p.s. I think there was a similar post with these theme somewhere around here. |
