On average, over the last 12 months I've earned about $50 a month online from mostly 1 website (a niche blog) Last month I earned over $100. I've recently launched 4 more websites (2 niche blogs, 2 resource sites) and think I will keep it above the $100 level a month from now on. My short term goal is to earn a consistent $250 a month online (by Christmas) and my ultimate goal is to earn $2,000 a month online. I'm looking at this in terms of the next 5 years. Once I'm earning 2k a month online I can quit my normal day to day job (yeah!). How much money do you make online per month? What are your short term and long term goals in relation to online earnings? |

My goal is $1million. Started my experiment (Becoming a Millionaire With Adsense) on June 1st. As of right now (Day 10) I'm clearing between $2 and $4 a day. |

That's a great idea for a thread. I don't make anything online yet, if you don't count that $26 I made with AdSense in 4 months, before they decided to close my account (and never got the cash anyway). But I'm interested in this. I hope a lot of people will post here. It also would be nice to add the links to your websites. It will not be advertising, but people would see the quality needed for these incomes. Also mention how much (money, time or effort) you have to spend to make these incomes. Thanks! |

The blog could use a more consistent image - with an address like that you can still make it clear that you aren't a millionaire with adsense yet, but the design doesn't really seem to fit the theme. If people look at the blog and say "he's not there yet but I know he'll make it" you'll get a lot of readers.

I started a site about 4 weeks ago and haven't made a dime Luckily, I'm passionate about the topic, so the money doesn't matter too much anyway...although it would be nice to be able to quit my day job someday... |

I launched my paid content subscription service last week... first signup today! that's $77/year in the pocket. W00t! I aim to have a 100 subscribers minimum by this time next year, so I can cover the production costs of my next album. In two years, I want to have a 1000 people signed up, so I can afford to go work 4 days a week instead of 5 and free up more time for making music. Eventually, I want to switch over completely... One step at the time! |

We will get in the four figure a month income bracket by March 2007 with our blogs. Our main blog Click A Life Coach - Personal Development and Life Coaching Blog currently makes a couple of dollars a day. Still waiting for the first cheque from AdSense to arrive as we haven't cracked the 100 dollar mark yet. I tried an experiment the other day with a MLM blob I run as well and used Google Adwords for it. My AdSense income went up, but the money I spent on AdWords was much more. Next step for us is getting involved in affiliate programs as they are better value than AdSense (so I think anyway) |

Currently making $0.00 Edit: Not sure why it keeps on adding the anchor text, I just type in the URL, and when I click save, it shows the anchor text. Sorry about that. Last edited by kf9211; 07-02-2008 at 03:14 AM. |

So I've been up now for a full month. Cleared $77 in the first month of operation. It's incremental, but right now I've increased from the $2-$4 a day to $5-$7 a day. I'm quite happy with that considering the disaster I caused myself about 2/3rds of the way through June (I didn't take a backup, just to compound the problem) which knocked the whole blog sideways for about 6 days. |

Wow, I think I need to monetize my site a little more or something, I've been up for 2 1/2 months now I guess and while the site has been growing steadily the income has not, I haven't even broken 10$ total on adsense I'm curious, would some of you guys mind posting how many daily visitors you're getting so there's something else to compare by. I'm getting about a hundred daily visitors. |

Hi stu, 100 visitors a day will not get you much on adsense at all. work on increasing your traffic and adsense will follow. Adsense requires alot of traffic to create any income to talk about. Dave |

It all comes down choosing whether you want a big piece of a small pie, or a small piece of a big pie. I now that I'd prefer the latter.

My goal is to be making $100 a month within my first six months. I'd LOVE to be able to drop down to part time at my current job and focus on my online portfolio and passions. I added adsense about 6 hours ago and have made $0.29 cents so far. SO. I'm crossing my fingers things go well. I'm just using adsense right now. I'd like to put some more things on my site to have multiple sources of income, but Amazon doesn't work too well for me because i'm not selling anything and it's not book related. So. If anyone has any advice for something that will make me a little bit of money without disrupting my viewers to much let me know! This is what i've done in 5 days :: GENERAL HOSPITAL FEVER. |

Have no idea whether it was the sudden spike in clicks (my latest blog cleared as many clicks a day as my old ones did in quarter of a year), or if it's percieved fraudulent clicks (3 companies share the same public IP address on my network) which is outside my control. Google doesn't say what it is, so I'm stumbling in the dark. Have started the appeals process, so fingers crossed it gets reinstated. Feel quite miffed actually, as I'd even been writing about why you should not click your own ads - I'd be gobsmacked if that is the reason they pin me for. oh well.

$50,000 dollars a month. WOW. Now that is an accomplishment. An definately independant. COULLS - That's bull. Seriously? My website had a few okay days, (first 2), the third I have 7 clicks and 250 UI's. (3rd day), and then yesterday and today, i've had nothing. It's rather frusturating just getting people to come constantly, then it's even more frusturating have 250 people visit and only 7 click on a google ad, AND THEN if Google banned me because I did have many clicks? Oh wow. Very, very frusturating indeed. |

| Yup - seriously. Finger's crossed, this will turn into one of those stories where justice comes through and prevails. I know I've done nothing, but in Google's world that you sign up for, you are guilty until proven innocent. I'm in the process of proving my innocence right now. Edit: So actually, I'll create a new thread about this subject... Last edited by coulls; 07-15-2008 at 03:43 AM. |
