I'm gonna turn my blog into a source of income :)

I've had a blog for awhile, but I've mostly been neglecting it. Now I'm going to turn it into a passive income source. I'm reading wherever I can about how to generate more traffic and so on... from all I've read so far, it all comes back to square 1, which is, good content. And that's good because I'd rather get money providing great content than from cheap gimmicks.

Cool, welcome to the club! How many hits do you get per day? What about your CTR rate? My AdSense clicks have stopped, and I'm thinking WTF is going on. I need to figure out where I should place my ads. I'm getting about 350 hits/day now.

I'm getting around 30 hits a day right now, and I've made about $1 so far. Very slowly learning more about how to market it.. I need to reserve a few hours to submit things to blog carnivals and such. Well, the main thing is having good content, and my recent content is plenty good I think

your blog looks good, with relevant content, you have a really good opportunity to earn with that site. You should look into your adsense ads though. If you have 30 hits per day you should be earning more, at least 2-5 dollars a day. But it´s good that you are reading and learning, it´s quite a high learning curve in this business. And it takes time. Start out with optimizing your adsense, and you should have an immediate boost in income.

I've skimmed over your blog, i dont like your writing style, its punctuated to often. it makes your material, appear bland, boring and repetitive. it also, becomes irritative.

You really think so bobo? I think your site about qutting smoking makes that much because of the market. Just like the weight loss market, everyone is trying to loose weight and there are thousands of products out there for it. So more people are going to buy.

I currently have two vertical adsense banners on the right and a horizontal one at the bottom. I'm thinking of switching it to, two on the side, one at the top, and a searchbar at the bottom.

Anyone tried adlinks, and know how well that works?
