Hi there; I have just launched a new site called URLCount.com - shrink your long URLs and count the number of clicks it does the same thing than tinyurl, but also provides you with information how often someone visited the link. There will be future enhancements like managing the links that you have created and more detailed reports of the hit statistics. I am open for any suggestion how to make the site better.

that's a really good concept. The only thing I could suggest is what if someone abused it and reserved multiple short URLS. Maybe have an e-mail activation requirement or bot prevention number entry Edit: oh I just read the disclaimer Last edited by andyoyo; 04-17-2008 at 05:28 AM. |

Thanks for the reply, I am currently thinking of simply adding Captcha to it and will see if more needs to be done to make it more secure over the next months.
