Default help naming my business?

I am in the process of naming my marketing and business coaching entity, and I'd love it if you have a few minutes today to give me some feedback.

I need a name and I need a tagline. My market is smart entrepreneurs, especially ones who want to increase the number of clients they serve and increase their revenue.

The two things I'd like to emphasize are action and ambition (action coach and ambition coaching are already taken).

Taking action is where any success comes from and I think helping my clients to take the right action in the right size steps is my unique selling proposition. Ambitious describes both me and my clients very well, and that's why I'd love to convey that in the name somehow.

The best name I think that I have come up with so far (thanks David!) was Am-♥♥♥♥♥-ous Coaching. That is already taken - darn!

I love that it's catchy, memorable and creates a picture for people when they hear it. It's a bit hard to spell and to understand though (I had to tell everyone the name twice before they got it).

So here are some of the options I'm looking at now.

Names I like, but that I feel aren't quite right yet
Back of the Napkin Success Coaching - close. I might go with this one.
Head2Head Coaching - kinda predictable and cliche
Activ-ation (or Activation) - don't think this is catchy or memorable enough
A Lever Long Enough (Archimedes - give me a lever long enough, and I can move the world!)-not specific enough to coaching
Butt-In-High-Gear Coaching
Gett-her Done - I'm not a redneck, so this sorta clashes
Pro-Active - already a product name
Cream of the Crop Coaching
Head of the class - I don't encourage judging success in relation to others, so maybe a clash in value here

I also like the idea of mixing two or three words together to create a completely new, trademark-able word. Here are a few I've come up with.

Ambiction - ambitious + action
Ambitionator - terminator clone
Ambitionista - I think fashionista when I hear this one
Ambitionella - italian phrase - Miguel says it means beautiful ambition
Bella ambicione - same phrase, but split up - a little easier to pronounce and remember I think

Some tag lines I've come up with that I think are pretty good:
Action-focused coaching for ambitious entrepreneurs - too big of a mouthful?
Direction and perspective for smart entrepreneurs
Ambitious business coaching
Direction. Perspective. Support.

Any thoughts? Good idea comments? Bad idea comments? Other suggestions?

Thank you for taking the time to look at this. You are awesome!

I think the idea of mixing words is good. Ambiction sounds good and is remarkable enough, and I think you should use "ambitious" and "action" in your taglines. Probably you can create something as "Active coaching for ambitious entrepreneurs" or "Go active, be ambitious". Probably the name can be "Ambictive"

Good luck in your busiiness and be sure to tell us about your achievements!

Activ-ation Coaching--kinda like this one.
I like Ambictive too. Made me think of addictive (could be bad) then thought, Get Addicted to Action?? , don't know. wait that ain't right. Ambictive would be ambition + addictive so it would be Get Addicted to Ambition. I like Action better. (Gee am I helpful or what?)

Just to be negative--I think the 'smart' thing is being done to death. It's popping up everywhere.

I like Back of the Napkin - it made me think of working on the fly. Don't know if that's what you had in mind though.

I vote for Activ-ation Coaching, short, easy to remember, tells what you're about.

'Active-action'?

Sounds like word and implies vitality and taking action together.

I have a currently dormant business name 'Mind Meadow' which basically takes two unconnected words to get its message across.

If they are unrelated it will make it more memorable and an easier to find search term.

Well, I think that people who search for some coaching do not know the name of the business that can help them. So they just search for some words that are related to coaching. It will be better to have words that searches can use.

Action Advocate
"Fulfilling Your Ambitions Through Action"

I like the Idea of your service and would be interested in your information!

One thought I have every time I hear the word "coach", is being yelled at. Im sure I'm not alone in my experiences growing up playing sports or watching sports on t.v. seeing the coach yell and telling people what to do.

I know the word is used a lot, "Life Coach", "Fitness Coach", "Business Coach", but as an entrepreneur myself, I really don't want to be told what to do. I would however, like to have some help, assistance, support, collaboration and an Advocate.

The energy I feel from the word "coach" is much different than the words "advocate", "collaborator" or "support"

Best of luck!!

A Lever Long Enough
I think this works well if you know the quote. The other names are a bit cheesy.

Wow, thanks for the great ideas so far! You guys rock!

Miffbyff,
I see your point about the term coaching being overused and bringing up unhappy memories.

(btw Miffbyff, I don't see any contact info for you so if you want to hear more about my 30 minute, no fee & no obligation coaching session, you can email me at rise dot llc at gmail dot com)

Action Advocate - I think I like this one. Does anyone else think lawyer when they hear this, or does it relate the idea of an advisor well enough? Maybe Action Advisor?

Yennifer,
I'll make sure the search terms are something that people are looking for. What I'm really concerned about now is finding a business name that is catchy enough that people at networking events remember it later, and a name that is not so descriptive that it's completely generic and overused.

Back of the Napkin Coaching Business Coaching is another one I keep hearing good reactions to. What sort of image do you get when you hear this one? Do you get the image of a great coach, ready and willing to help you with whatever is needed? Or does it feel too sponateous, like there is no planning at all?

Keep it coming!
Rebecca

Are you going to focus on specific areas within the business coaching? Like working with management and then having them rollout the action steps with their employees? Or are you going to go in with the team approach and work with the employees? Large or small employers?

How about something like:
Small Steps For Big Results
Master your Money with the Right Action
Todays Action = Tomorrows Success
Forward March Coaching
Get it Going Coaching
