I was thinking about informal lending after I wrote about a chinese hui (i'm based in Taiwan) that I was involved with a few years ago. What other informal lending do people do these days? How do you work it? Have you ever been an informal lender or informal borrower? I know I have on more than one occasion. Given that credit these days is difficult to come by... it could be an option for more people. Thanks, Kenneth
