Default Starting a Simple Website

Hello all. I will be launching a very simple website selling a very niche e-book I have created. I will also offer the book on e-bay.

Can someone recommend a simple and inexpensive host for something this straight forward? I really just need one simple sales page that processes credit cards. I think sitebuildit is too expensive and offers way more features then I need.

Thanks ahead of time for your responses.

Hi bigadam,

You may want to consider building an entirely new business around your ebook. Rebecca Fine did this when she built The Science of Getting Rich Network, which lead to her courses, CD's and other affiliates working for her.

I think she's been running this business for 8 years now (all from one ebook). You can download a free copy of her ebook here.

If this peaks your interest you may want to consider 1shoppingcart.com to setup your product, mailing list, etc.

Thanks for the replies.

To smartile: My long term goal is to certainly brand myself as an expert in a niche and then monetize it, but for my very first online venture, this ebook is really only needed until people take a certification test. There isn't really a back end funnel with this.

Part of the reason I chose this as my first e-product was because of the simplicity. The focus is on profit, sure, but an equal focus is on the learning process.
