Default Started a new blog

Hey guys,

So I just started a new blog, I have some posts up, and am slowly getting together some content. Though I don't have the default Wordpress layout, I still have one directly from the website, and have not been able to personalize the blog too much. I have no experience with coding, making money from blogs, or anything like that, but I would really like to see this blog work and become popular.

Are there any good resources you guys know of that would help me make my blog more unique, or help me kinda learn the blogging world? I'm grateful I have to opportunity to blog at 16 yrs old, and I would like to make the most of it.

My blog can be found here: Enabling Dreams

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Fiona

I just started my blog too, you can see the link in my signature. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I've found problogger is a pretty good resource online for blogging tips and info. As far as customizing your blog, I'd say find some good stock images that you can post with you entries that help attract the viewer. That and try to either create or have someone help you create a unique header. I like your entries so far, you write very well for your age especially.

Posting images is a good idea, thank you. And thanks for your compliments.

I'm always looking for suggestions. I'll check out problogger as well.

I think today is the best day I've ever had as far as hits go, already at 500. I'm amazed.
