Default Good idea? Bad idea?

I'm considering developing an info product (e-book) on "how to become an adventure-travel writer" to sell on a website. I've been told that those search terms won't generate much trafffic. But I've also been told that there are ways to get around that and create traffic by other means. I don't want to start on the e-book till I have a better understanding of whether it might sell. Does anybody have any advice on how I might research this better?

I would start with researching the dynamics of marketing e-books first, if you haven't done that already. Perhaps one of the best ways to do this might be through a blog, where you offer people free content, and then offer the rest for a fee (your e-book).
