Hey guys, I'll be taking on a new job soon hopefully, and hope to write a new business plan for my old business as a side project. I think the side business will make me a lot more money, but keep me active in a job in place of school and keep a steady source of income in case I'm short on work or I need more money to market and develop my business. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to plan my business? What's the most effective way to make a business plan for a service company, or the best way to start over again for a technician who wants to be a business owner. I realize at first I will be essentially self employed. Should I look to the eMyth for this? I want my business plan to be portable, so if I move to Canada or New Hampshire or Florida I can still implement it, with a few tweaks of course. Marketing is probably my biggest hurdle, and I plan to use direct mail with a lot of direct sales techniques to acquire clients. Thanks! |
