| Looking for an opinion on an idea I had. If I were to create a site based on a topic that contained unique and personally generated content, then created an ebook with all the same content from the site, would it make sense to try and sell the ebook? The content would be the same for both but the visitor wouldn't have to go clicking through links and would also be able to read it while offline. I didn't know if this was a way to generate some money or if it would turn a person off. The other option was to create the ebook from the content and give it away with links in it to help generate traffic back to the site. I just was just wondering if anyone else had thought about this or maybe had some experience in trying to do the same thing. Sincerely, Cadman |

| what about putting SOME of the content on the website, with "read the full story by purchasing our eBook" or something similar?

| It depends on whether you need traffic or income. If you are just starting out you probably need traffic so write an ebook and give it away. This will attract people to your site. Once you are established you could make money selling an ebook. If you are just starting out worry about getting traffic to your site. You'll have plenty of time later to figure out how to monetize it. |
