My most recent "web adventure" is WillieLongIII.com. I built this site to create an online mastermind group of focused individuals willing to do whatever it takes to obtain the entire spectrum of success. It's in it's infancy, but it's building momentum pretty quickly. The challenge is to attack this beast at an angle that hasn't been beaten to death by others.

My blog is about acting. I was created the blog for a number of reasons. 1. Actors need websites, blogs, and damn near all the promotion they can get, so I'm told. 2. I like to write. I also like to discuss things with random people. 3. I feel like I have something unique and of value to offer: my story. In all honesty though, my blog offers a practical guide for actors in any stage of their career. As I consider myself a beginner, I plan to offer advice, inspiration, motivation and encouragement for fellow actors and anyone striving to achieve their dreams. It documents my journey starting from the ground up. From leaving the security that I had pursuing an Economics degree at Cal Poly Pomona (which I didn't have to pay a dime for, they paid me to go to school) to mustering up the courage and deciding to pursue my dream of becoming an actor earlier this year (with no money, no plan, no back-up plans). It's still in it's infant stages, I'm still figuring wordpress out, but the vision is to offer hope and inspiration, practical advice relevant to both actors and everyone else. I've got about ten articles up, check it out, let me know what you think. Lifeisbutastage.wordpress.com

Hey guys, I'm new to blogging. I've had a blog for a while, but I never posted any content. A few days ago I made a new blog on Blogspot. I have a hosted blog on my own site, but I never updated that blog, and I feel that Blogspot is more friendly for personal and journal-like blogs. The blog's address is A Neverending Stream of Thoughts. I'm asking for like-minded people with similar blogs to network with me by commenting or subscribing/following, and I'll do the same. Especially if you're an amateur like me. The theme is generally personal, personal development, and art interests. |

I'm not planning on monetizing this blog. I have plans to make an art blog in the future, but now I just want the experience.

Hi, My blog is called Awake Your Authentic Self and I write about personal development, life coaching and conscious living. The funny thing is when I started the blog, back in February, I didn't know how many personal development blog there are out there. I didn't even know who Steve Pavlina was.

Mine is Write Thing, and it's still in its infancy. The site's about ways to grow as a writer. I figure there's enough generic, boring articles out there on the 'normal' things to do - get up early, revise, blah blah blah - but authors tend not to go into specifics. So what my blog aims to do is provide interesting, unusual material for writers to bounce ideas off, and hopefully help out with improving specific areas of their writing skill. |

Hi all, My wife has been following Steve for a long time. She hip'd me to these forums. There is so much information to absorb here that I feel a bit overwhelmed. I think a good place to start might be getting some feedback on a site that she and I created. http://zulpgulp.com The idea is to offer incentive for members to provide content. And hopefully that content will be entertaining to members & non-members alike. Pretty simple. There are known issues with IE 7. Please let us know if you're experiencing any browser specific display issues. And whatever else. We're trying to make the site concept & functions as easy to grasp as possible. Thanks, Joel |

Looked @ some of the blogs on here, some of you have some terrific original content! My website is A Self Development and Lifestyle Design Blog by Scott Marcaccio I'm a personal development fanatic and was running experiments and trials and writing/keeping track of them in my paper and pencil journal. I figured I may as well post them on a blog to brand myself a little better in the online world and connect with new people. Having a lot of fun and I'm enjoying writing more than I thought I would! Thanks for the opportunity to bring this up. All the best to everyone this Holiday season!

Mine is called For the Love of Creativity, and it's a blog about my life and things that I'm interested in that have to do with expressing or appreciating creativity. So far, it's been a lot about my own musical experiences, as I've poured a lot of time into that arena. Hopefully you'll enjoy what I've written and check out some of my musical works! A lot of them are free. |

My new blog is Baby-Steps to Fluency. It is about languages and language learning... partly my own progress, but also tips so that other learners can meet success. It's hosted by Wordpress.com for now, but I hope to self host it soon, once I get some posts up and some subscribers. Any tips would be very helpful. =)

Question to bloggers: Do you feel that a certain level of life experience was necessary before you could have a satisfactory blog? If so, how much? I have a spiritual blog and a vegan blog, but so far only a few of my posts would I call real "keepers." The others were perhaps more for me than anyone else, experimenting with writing for an audience and on certain topics. I know I need to get better at writing, which I am working on... but I wonder if that's really enough. I feel like I have a lot of knowledge, but so far lack the ability to share it very often in a unique way, especially as I get a lot of that knowledge from other blogs (but some of it from academic journals and books). I know more experience will help me, but I am just wondering how much more it will take... There's so much to learn, I wonder if by the time I am a decent blogger, everything won't already be said! Maybe I should just think of blogging as learning for other areas of life.

Whats up everyone? I plan on being a big contributor in this wonderful community. About 2 weeks ago I started a blog on my passions of Lifestyle Design & Personal Development. You can find it at Experimenting with Improvement Marketing, Lifestyle Designs, and Personal Development — Life Destiny. I feel a lot of people on this forum will find something useful in it, if not now, in the future. Anyways, here is a little more about my blog: Life Destiny is a online community to bring people together who want to develop a lifestyle design based on their own terms of goals, health, happiness, and success. The mission of Life Destiny is to inspire individuals to pursue their idea of a healthy lifestyle design and personal development techniques in everyday living. Let me know what yinz think. Feel free to add me on Facebook and Twitter. I look forward to becoming a contributor to PD4SP Forums! |

I made a list of what I actually think blogging will be useful for: Uses of blogging: Improve my writing skills, writing for an audience, writing on certain topics, and more generally. Develop ideas. Improve general communication/advocacy skills. Secondary uses: actual advocacy and education, documentation, money-making. But then... I found myself writing one of my best blog articles yet this morning. I have noticed that one thing that keeps Steve's posts great is how he is able to make so many connections based on massive amounts of knowledge. I am able to do that more and more... so I think I will become more prolific with time... I hope so anyway. Btw, whoever blogs Mind-Manual is awesome.

I am a writer in New Haven, Conn., where I also teach parttime at Yale. I am the author of the forthcoming "Nobody Turn Me Around," a dramatic portrayal of the 1963 March on Washington (Beacon, June 2010). I am also shopping a book called "The Writing Code," which provides a sure-fire system for all genres of writing. Check out my blog at The Writing Code: The Only Comprehensive System for All Genres. Today's post on resolutions references Steve Pavlina's post on 30-day trials (Ten for '10: New Year's Resolutions for the Writer - The Writing Code: The Only Comprehensive System for All Genres). To all, a happy new year.

My blog is about growing your own foods (vegetables, fruits, herbs, and even mushrooms) in an ecological manner and using as few pesticides and chemicals as possible. The focus is on utilizing the land and materials available that one would find in their typical backyard. I also have a section on the health aspects and benefits of certain plants and fungi etc, and I have just recently touched on some ethnobotanical plants. Home farming and gardening using natural approaches to growing food |

I tell you why...and I might be biased because I am a designer but that blog layout is just too hard to look at! It also doesn't help that I can't read it, as it is in French - he he! If you are interested I am releasing a wordpress blog theme very soon, aimed at designers and crafters. It might not be you're cup of tea, but I am happy to send you a link to it if you are interested
