Hi Everybody, As some of you may be aware I have a website (see below) and have just put up a sales page for my book/guide 9 Essential Life Skills - A Guide for Personal Development and Self-Realization. I am not a professional copywriter either and I welcome any feedback or suggestions. Have I conveyed the contents properly? Is it visually appealing? Does it generate interest? Thank You. |

My website, Liberty Gaming, is about game development, specifically Free softwares. It is a very specialized niche. I bet there are more freeware than Free softwares video games. (Recently somebody told me that my blog is a niche within a niche within a niche but I disagree, it is not that specialized) I am earning money everyday even though they are mere cents. Better than negative income. |

Hello everyone, Glad to see so many bloggers with different interests. My blog started off as a way for me to write about my experiences as a newbie independent composer/songwriter. I write about everything from music software that I've used to website communities that I share my music on to personal development that will help other independent musicians. I would love to cross promote with other bloggers. The blogger who started this post (Geardos), I went to his website, but the link was not working. I am interested in talking with him or any others who has a related music blog. Please take a moment to read my music blog: Music Blog - tdbstudio.com Thanks. -Tiffany |

i started my personal blog last year and having been enjoying blogging ever since. i used to send emails to my friends whenever i discovered something interesting or triggered some thoughts which i wanted to share with people. however after a while, i decided to start a blog since i seem to have lots of stuff to say and i didn't want to 'spam' my friends' inboxes my blog captures the sights and sounds which are interesting or touch me in some way. humor and inspiration are two major themes 'cos i like to keep myself happy and motivated. it's peppered by the occasional perspective and paradigm shifts - jolts in thought, i call them Expansive Perspective |

Wow, quite a range of interesting blogs here. I started a blog and a website about building good habits a little while ago. My website is loopdo.com - a simple tool to build good habits, and it allows people to track their habits in a way similar to Steve's "30 day trials". My blog is about proactive personal development, emphasizing doing as a way for personal progress. Best, Ben Last edited by loopdo; 08-06-2007 at 06:05 PM. Reason: minor typo |

I just started my Internet Marketing blog 2 days ago I have been doing Internet Marketing for over 12 years now. I started out as a consultant, eventually create a few businesses that did pretty well, then left to help run an Internet Marketing Agency. The agency doubled in size, and then decided to lay me off recently... Now I'm back to satisfy my entrepreneurial hunger once again. My goal is to get some revenue via consulting work and advertising by offering lots of FREE information on how to increase traffic and improve conversion rates. I'm actually offering a select group of people FREE Web site Audits right now, where I will identify weaknesses in their site and help them to develop an Internet Marketing Strategy - more details are on the site. My hopes are that all of this pro-bono work will lead to money down the road. All the best, Brian |

Blatant promotion is allowed. Ok then. I've wanted to be writer since I was twelve years old with my little typewriter. Three years ago I purchased my domain name and in the past few months the dream has become a reality. My blog is called: Questions and Chaos - Life in the 21st Century. Its subject matter includes whatever idea has my attention at the time. I believe that life really does include everything. The title "Questions and Chaos is my attempt to summarize how we find our way. We ask questions that give us direction through the chaos of our lives and the universe. Check it out. If you find something interesting please comment, Stumble It, link it, tell all your friends - all that good stuff. Now if I could just find a patron who would buy the groceries |

I have a blog on my website, located below in the signature section. I've been blogging for awhile now. At least a year or so. It's helped some people and it has really let me break loose into writing freely, without constraints. I love it. If it were up to me, all lined paper would have no lines.

I have a relatively new blog about self-improvement. It focuses on (for now) getting more traffic to websites using search engines with me as a good example. Also it has information on feeling less stress and being healthier. Self Improvement for Smart People Also it just uses simple html code without any software for it.

my blog is about college life and finances. I just started it last month after being inspired by Steve's blog. I don't think there is much out there for college students about how to be frugal and live smart. So that is where I am trying to go with it. Any advice or tips would be awesome, or obviously any links would be great too haha. the link is in my signature

I just started two blogs today. Kaizen is a self improvement site where i hope to put articles, self help book reviews, tips etc.....and Grateful is a very specific site that i made solely to introduce grateful lists to a larger audience. On that one i'll have info on a variety of gratitude practices. I've never blogged before but I write often, now I have a place to put some articles...If I get some traffic, I guess I'll start adsense and purchase a domain and get crackin on building the blog. |

Well, my blog is called Goddess. It's a work in progress, but so far I have really enjoyed the journey. It's primarily centered around women and the things that we care about, think about, toil over... I have a lot to do with it (and that's the beauty of blogging). I also hope to have a couple other sites going soon. I'm a professional researcher (scientific at the moment), but I have plans to do something with that soon, too. Goddess can be reached through my signature link, and if you visit I sure could use a stumble! |

Wow. What an awesome group we have here - no surprises there. I'll have to come back to this thread when I need inspiration. My blog is here: attractionportal.com Not a lot there at the moment - definitely a work in progress. I've neglected it lately. The idea is to focus on the practical side of the law of attraction. Not a lot of detailed analysis, or postulating theories - just a discussion of all the materials out there - what's good, what's better, what's free, what's worth the $ - and most importantly, what works. At some point I'll have a forum up there. The long term goal is to have a small community of people sharing their experiences and determining what really works. My hope is along the way that sharing some of my experiences will be helpful to others as well. I have affiliate links set up and hope it will be profitable someday - but will keep doing it regardless because I'm passionate about the subject and hope my insights can help somebody. It also gives me something functional to do with my husband. |

My blogs name is "Infodocktor" and the url is Infodocktor. My passion has always been research and information. I started this because there is so much information on the internet that people need to know what is useful and what is not for starting a business and does this stuff really work. I want to help people in anyway possible so my blog is in a generalist tone but geared towards "how to" information. |

Like many of you I have an abiding interest in personal development. My blog (and in my sig) is Personal Development From Lifeworks. Like Steve did with this site, I intend to monetize it. I've been interested in PD for decades and they always say to do what you love and the money will follow (apparently "They" are the Van Patten family, Vince, Dick, Joyce, and the lot...just kidding). I just launched my new blog today called http://www.InspiredBlogger.com. It focuses on Making Money Online by Blogging. Basically, I will take this new site from ZERO traffic, ZERO revenue to big numbers and post each step along the way for my readers to read. My intention is to make it an amazing resource for those interested in increasing traffic to their blogs and making money online by blogging. (If the link doesn't work, it's because I registered the domain just a few hours ago). |

Wow... seems like everyone has been hard at work with their blogs. I've briefly looked through all of them and they look quite interesting! My blog ThinkPilates is dedicated to knowledge and wisdom for the progessing pilatee. I am a well certified pilates instructor looking at breaking my ties between time and money (pilates instructors generally get paid by the hour.) My site offers advice, how-to's, instruction, pictures, equipment reviews and recommendations, and much more for those people who are interested in progressing their pilates practice or just begining to add it into their life. Peace. Last edited by ZoFlies; 09-02-2007 at 05:39 AM. |

Hello, Here is a site that I have made. It's called *****. It's links to dial-up friendly media. Specifically, low bandwidth radio streams and Youtube audio only clips. I was looking for something like this online but couldn't find it, so I reasoned that maybe others were looking for something similar. So I made it. With the fonts and graphics I was going for a sort of old/super low-tech feel to fit in with the whole jist of the site. Does that come across? Or does it just look cheesy? If anyone checks it out I'd love to hear what you think. Peace |

Just having a list of radio stations like this is really nice. Great idea with the icons saying what type of media it is. I had no idea I could click one button and have a station play in winamp! Also, nice web domain! Gripes: The yellow is annoying. Too bright. I don't like the graphics. I see what you're doing, but, meh. All things being equal, graphics are there to make your site look better, or cooler, and these don't. Your bmp is 148k. Thats seriously ironic. I've attached comp.gif below - its 2.63k instead of 148k for the same quality. How about an image of an old record? I have credits on istock if you want me to grab you one. WVBR Ithaca, NY Rock 24 Kbps is not rock. Its bluegrass. i98 Wollongong Top 40 20 Kbps is not winamp. Its WM. I would make your about page your default page. Your entry page is blank. That's confusing. | |
