There are a lot of interesting blogs here - I've commented on some ! I have a blog I started a few weeks ago at ch.aoti.ca. I am an e-Marketing Manager and MBA - so it leans towards these subjects. It also has some personal observations and insights and... writing on personal development of course! So many different themes is what makes it chaotic .

Default Financial Website

I thought I would add my website. I take a different approach to personal finance by looking more at how our thoughts, beliefs and emotions affect our personal finances. The website includes an educational series and a blog that I update twice a week.

My Financial Awareness

As somebody once told me, the site blends the financial advise already out there with the personal growth philosophies of people like Wayne Dyer, Gary Zukav and Deepak Chopra. I use this approach because if financial advise worked on its own, we all would be millionaires. What gets in the way are our thoughts, beliefs and emotions.

My Blog, Abundant Lifestyles (still in it's infancy) is a place where self employed individuals can learn more about creating results in their business, tools for success and inspiration. I am also in the process of adding a marketing entity to it which will provide a great deal of information on internet marketing, targeted to new marketers. Check it out:

I started my blog back in December as a manuscript for abook I'm writing, and then converted it into a blog this weekend. It's called "Diary of an Entrepreneur" and it's where I chronicle, from a very personal viewpoint, including intimate details of my personal and family life, my adventures in start-up land. So I'm essentially blogging my book's manuscript. A few type-o's here and there which I have to go back to fix, and all the names there are assumed names in order to "protect the innocent," because the company I'm starting is a work in progress, and sometimes I have to share some not so flattering details about people who would not want to read about those details. But it's fun!!!! Let me know what you all think!

Fun way to get a plug =)

My blog/website is www.AlexShalman.com and it is a fresh, practical look at personal development. I began the site on December 15th, so the amount of posts reflects that. Take a look around, subscribe to a feed and enjoy what is.

Again, thanks for the plug.

I've seen that a few here have entrepreneur related blogs. If you haven't already, you might want to check out the related blog carnival. The startupspark.com hosts it every week and there is some good stuff there.

Smile

Hi, everyone. What a great thread and terrific bunch of people! I am a motivational writer, speaker, trainer and consultant. I use my blog to prepare for upcoming events (speeches, workshops, seminars), communicate with my clients, and give assignments to my students.

My passion is my seminars on career development and empowerment for women, so my blog stays close to issues related to women’s autonomy and leadership; success, money, health, weight-loss, positive thinking, self-development, etc. (I do have several male readers, however.)

My goal is to make money from my blog, so the content is top-quality. If anyone sees anything I could do better, I’m all ears.

My top three, most popular posts are:
Wake up and Create the Life You Want
The Power of a Smile
How I Lost 25 Pounds in One Month

My personal favorite is:
One Woman Can Make a Difference

Howdy all. My blog is in its infancy and is entitled it "Your Thoughts Exposed". It is basically about all the things we think about and how that translates into where we find ourselves in life at this very moment.

The great thing about it is that, while my journey in personal development and being an entrepreneur is relatively new, I find that writing about the same principles that I am learning and applying simply reinforces it to myself.

It helps me to apply the BE-DO-HAVE principle.

BE the leader
DO what leaders do
HAVE the results they have

I just took over a blog last week.

www.secret-scrolls.com

It is primarily a life coaching blog and I will be adding a lot of information.

It is mainly focussed on lessons from the movie the secret, as taught by Bob Proctor, and with reference to others teachings to.

As one of Bob's Life Success Consultants I have recieved my training from him, and his protege Paul Martinelli.

I am also using it to coordinate my online coaching classes, and a business I am currently looking for investors for, with a deal to partner with Bob in Japan. (where I live)

Default Promote your blog on my site

All these blogs are great! I've got a website that will help you find some readers for your blog. My site is called Grupl, and it's a social news site so the members post links and rate the best ones. But wait, this is NOT a Digg-clone! It's actually quite unique. Members of the site join groups of people with similar interests and only see stories that have been submitted to the groups they are in. And if there's a group you want to see but doesn't exist, you can create it!

So if you want to get some users on your blog, come on over to Grupl and start participating by posting your links and joining groups. It's great fun and it's free of course!

Hello everyone

I'm in the middle of setting up a site and two new blogs; one of which was imported from one of my older blogs. It has a lot of programming material on it, but it also covers a lot of other IT topics.

I've started a new blog (Codelines) purely to focus on software design and development (as a software developer that's where my passion is). Once I get this new one going, I might turn my other blog (Codecutter) into a programming blog. Articles on one, techy content on the other.

The software development industry isn't exactly a niche market though ;(

Working full time at the moment, but going to cut back to part time when I undertake my Master's

See signature for link.
It's nice seeing so many people on a personal development site. You know everybody has good intentions

I have a blog where I post about public domain and creative commons books, music and audio. I have posted about over 100 totally free and legal songs people can download and enjoy. I post regularly with links to free books and music/audio available on-line. I have very strong feelings about open source and copyleft, and just want to share the joy

Default grupl

Hi, someone sent me a personal message on this site about his own site called grupl. I thought I would plug it here since the spirit of this thread is about advertising your blog..

Group Powered Content: Grupl

Bascially it is a site with a voting system, similar to sites such as digg, but foccessed on blog articles. You submit an article, and people vote for it. It seems like it could be a good way to get traffic.

Enough about all of you... let's talk about me! (Just kidding)

In typical Ready Fire, Aim style, back in November of last year I bought a domain and commenced to blogging about the only two things I know, being an entrepreneur and selling books. As I am a bookseller, more was written about that, and I developed a strong following in that field and my humble site went from page rank 0to page rank 6 in about 2 months! I was ecstatic, but my booksellers were not into my entrepreneurial posts. In fact, I got complaints about them from the booksellers, and my folks who liked the more motivational stuff were lost when it came to the bookselling posts.

What to do now seems obvious, but it took me a while. I now have two blogs:

My Book selling blog, which has been up since the beginning of November of '06, and my Politically incorrect entrepreneurial insights blog, which went up a few days ago. So far the second blog only has a few entries, mainly the more popular posts from the old blog that have to do with the entrepreneurial decision.

Thanks for all the other links, by the way. I have added many of them to my feeds.

Default www.depressionsblog.com

Hello!

My blog is about clinical depression and how to cope with this mental illness.

There is something unique and special about this blog. All postings are written from the point of view of those people who suffer from clinical depression.

Since I am suffering from this illness - I am bipolar II to be more specific - I offer first hand information to my readers. I was searching for information about how to recover from this illness and grow. Unfortunately there were only websites from psychiatrists which didn´t serve my needs.

I wanted to get informations from people who successfully defeated their sufferings and give hints about their journey back into live. That´s one of the main reasons I started this blog.

I am influenced by many personal development books and also by Steve Pavlinas journey into the blogosphere. So let´s call my blog personal development for smart clinical depressed people.

Wink Following Ad Links is Useful

I spent the last couple of days spending some time each day looking over all these blogs listed here, and I bookmarked or subscribed to the ones pertinent to my current interests. There are some neat blogs in there--regardless of their pertinence to my interests. As I went through the blogs, I tried to give all the bloggers with advertising on their site a break by looking through the ads and finding something interesting to click. Some of the ads took me to some really neat products that I’ve never heard of. Most people tend to try to ignore online ads, myself included, but I’m not sure that is very wise, because as I discovered, there is some neat stuff out there for sale.

Anyway, since I looked at all the other blogs listed here, I’ll mention my blog now. My blog, titled The Universe As, is nothing short of an attempt to figure it all out; that means that I try to take everything from physical science, to psychology, to spirituality, etc. and put it in a framework where it all fits together. The way I do this is by starting from a Subjective Reality type perspective. Since I’m into getting to the detailed core of it all, the stuff on my site isn’t all warm and fuzzy. While focusing only on the warm and fuzzy has more mass appeal, it requires ignoring some real essential stuff that needs to be confronted if a person wants a coherent map of things. If you want to figure it all out and get to the core of things without compromise, even if that means challenging cherished assumptions, then check out my blog.

Its got a little bit of everything from entreprenuership to personal development and health. Check it out as its still in the newer phases and I am trying to build a community. Feel free to join the forums as we have already got a few members and it has grown faster then I thought.

http://www.agullon.wordpress.com. My new project in action. Basically this is kind of like another Personal Development blog, but with a slight twist. A lot of the rather recent Personal Development blogs have been quite spiritually based. Nothing wrong with that because spirituality is an important element of Personal Growth.

My blog gives advice on slightly more practical aspects of Personal Development.
