| Hey everyone. I have a business concept I want to share with some of the college students on this forum, since I've already seen some pretty good blogs owned by the posters here. I'm beginning to put together a network of college entrepreneurs who have decided to take their financial situation into their own hands and circumvent the current financial aid system, which is seriously broken. I call this person a "scholarpreneur" which is the name of my site as well. Who I'm looking for are college kids who are very serious about this concept. This will be a mastermind group. So I'm only putting together a small dedicated group of no more than 10 webmasters/bloggers. I want people who are dedicated to their studies as well. I know there are many college entrepreneur/business clubs and organizations, but none of them look at how to make money right now, to pay for your college education right now, while you're still in college. If you're planning on dropping out of college to pursue your business aspirations, more power to you, but that's not the focus of this network. I started a site about a month ago, the concept of which is no different than any other college entrepreneur website. But reading some of Steve's writings about purpose (thanks Steve) I realized I could do a lot more than just make some money for myself. I want people to realize they can do it too. I'm looking to make money and pay for college like the rest of you, but I want to do something bigger, better. Why not try to make a positive change in this world too? If you're interested, post, send me a message or email. And my website is in my siggy too, so take a look at it when you get the chance. |

I've had a few ideas on this, but am very interested in any more ideas. i also have a blog, not dedicated to this particularly, but it does have a general college kid/personal finance idea to it. i'm still perfecting the blog thing, but let me know about your idea
