Default recurring payments

I would like to charge a customer for a monthly service. Currently this customer pays us via Google Checkout, but Google Checkout doesn't support recurring payments. Paypal doesn't allow this either.

Ideally, I would like to send an invoice (like I do with PayPal) for the recurring service and then my customer would be automatically billed every month until it's cancelled.

Does anyone know of a payment service that can handle recurring billing?

Default not what I want

This won't work for me. You have to sign up for "Payflow Gateway" service to use PayPal's recurring billing (and pay a big monthly fee). I currently use their "Email Payments" which does not allow recurring billing.

The Payflow Gateway is for people who want to integrate PayPal with their website. I just want to email an invoice like I do now.

Regular Paypal accounts do provide this. You just need to upgrade to a Premier or Business account (free)

Another option is to use 2Checkout.com $50 joining fee.

Default update

And in case you don't find exactly it, it's subscription payments that you're looking for. I have many of my web hosting clients signed up that way.
