My guitar-website project, opinions needed!

Hi!

I am a guitar player. Top guitar player. I play jazz(latin, fusion, gipsy), balcan folk music, and some classical (witha pick). I am very enthusiastic about it, I love music, playing etc. I made a site wich is kind of a video blog, I recorded performances of some songs, you know close-ups. Like for a guitar lessons. I also transcribed music that I play and placed it beneath video clips, so you can immediately play (if you have good technique). So what is it al about? Those are very rare pieces, far away from rock, metal, blues and other popular guitar stuff, I made it for people who want to lern something new, to exapnd their guitar vocabulary, and simply enjoy discovering new music, enjoy playing.
There are classical, latin, balcan, ethnic, some classical jazz and fusion pieces (songs), and solos. So, the site offers you entertainment (watching clips), learning (transcriptions). Basically. There will be some articles but firstly I got to learn english better, like CD reviews, instructional video reviews, and maybe I record my personal video instructional video. I also want to meet new people (guitar players) and connect with them. And I will be very happy if I could connect other guitarists as well, with each other. How will I promote my self?
Well, I will host my videos on youtube and put amazingguitarjourney.com in each video clip. I've been on youtube and watched amateur guitar videos, and they got a lot of views, if they are good. How will I earn money? Adsense, affiliate programs (Amazon and clickbank). Maybe I place "donate" button. The purpose of this site isn't to earn loads of cashe. I will be happy if I could make 500-1000$ becasue in my country, Serbia, I could leave like king. This is basic idea. I done the 20 songs, and I will add new each week, or twice a weak. I will try to update it as much as I can. Site isn't hosted yet, but it's done.
I just wanted to ask you what do you think about idea? Suggestions and critique are welcome! thanks!

Sounds very interesting. One idea could be to have the site in a semi-blog format where you post a clip of you playing the entire song, but then break up the instruction on a daily or semi-daily basis so you get people wanting to keep coming back to learn the next portion of the song.

You always want to try to focus on maximizing the frequency of return visits.

Well as a musician as well I think this sounds great! Gosh I need to practice my guitar more! I love watching video's of people playing. I'm pretty good at picking things up by ear but there are always times when I can't work out what's happening so watching a video is great. There's a few pieces I've learned now through YouTube. I'm also really excited by the type of music you are going to be playing - it's great to see something different. I adore Balkan music so I shall look forward to that.
