Hi all, another question. I want to set up a blog on wordpress and I'm asking myself if what I write there is my property or theirs?? I didn't find that in their terms of service.

i wouldn't know, but i'm sure it's in the terms of use.

You have the copyright for the things you write. When there isn't anything in their terms of service it is entierely yours, otherwise it could be both yours and theirs.

Hi Rose of Cairo,

If you host your WP blog under your own domain, the blog and and all your written posts are yours completely.

BUT if you choose to host in on wordpress.com, you have to abide to their terms. For eg, if you post illegal contents in there, they can remove your blog any time they want.

You need to know that wordpress.ORG and wordpress.COM are 2 different stuffs. The former is hosted on your own domain.

Make your own website. People who get hosted blogs end up regretting it later. The two or three week learning curve for wordpress(.org) is worth it.
