| I am a day trader and I am in the position now where things have been going really well. My reaction to this is not happiness, but fear, and here are the reasons I can find: 1. I am afraid of losing the life of being someone "trying to make it in the markets". This has been something I have identified with for so long, I want to protect it. 2. I am afraid of the responsibility that wealth gives me. If I day trade to financial independence, I am responsible for what happens in my day. Before, I let my employer be responsible. I find relief going to work because I feel freedom to do whatever I want at someone else's cost, not my own. Now I feel like I will lose that. 3. I feel that every time something good happens to me I am not worth it and therefore will lose it. I do not know how to overcome this. Any advice, stories, or empathy will be much appreciated. Thanks!

| Perfectly normal, rational and expected reactions. Congratulations! You're not even remotely crazy. As well, you've already proven to yourself that you have the brains, energy and drive to get where you are. So, clearly, you've got the brains, energy and drive to manage the issues that you're currently facing. Capisce? The fear is real, I understand that, but it's based on sandcastles. And so what if you lose it? You can just build it up again. You've already proven to yourself that you can do it. No biggie. Chill. Calm. Relax. Here, have some scotch. Ice? |

| That provides great perspective, thanks cnd! It will probably still be tough when the time comes though. As it happens all the scotch bottles (not many) are empty in my cabinet, except for a bit of "emergency dregs" at the bottom. I have been meaning to go buy new bottles, or then again, I have also been meaning not to.

| Interesting point here. You have a goal, complete the mission and then be afraid of loosing it. It is simple, maybe too simple spelled out, just a persective which I can relate to. Interesting thoughts come to my mind: - What is your next goal? -how much can you put aside for that rainy day NOW? - Good to know WHAT you did and HOW you did it. So WHO are you now? (It's not about what you have, but who you become. In my opinion you made major growth but you are still wearing a suit that is too small) -Worse case scenario: what if you loose everything? Is it only the money and status? Or do you feel beaten too? You should not be, there is no reason to. But -How much is enough and then what are you going to do? The opposite of fear is pleasure. Maybe a swift of attention should go there. Thanks for your question, you made me think about some of your stuff which connects to my stuff. Peek |

| First of congratulations for being this aware and conscious. that's surely a sign that you can move up past this identity. When we are aware, these identities lose some of their "pull". Keep sharing these stories because by sharing you also remind yourself.

| Hey Boreas, Sounds like your life is the way you want it. It's just that you have all these negative emotions. Those are just feelings that have nothing to do with the reality of your life. Do a search on YouTube for 'Tapping' and 'EFT' for an easy way to get rid of negative emotions.

| Well, that is the first time I have seen EFT material. I will give it a try the next chance I get. Thanks!
