| Hi, One of my goals is to reach financial independence/freedom by developing multiple streams of income. So far I have managed to develop one stream in the form of Financial Spread Betting (as per my previous post). However I am keen to develop more. Does anyone know of any good resources/information on developing streams of income? Or does anybody have any good or useful ideas. Following on from that another issue that I have is that since I have been thinking about developing streams of income, that ALL I have been doing!!! I spend a lot of time thinking about ideas or reading about ideas, researching them and then doing nothing about them. Put simply I can't seem to get myself to execute these ideas. Just to be clear I am not looking to become the next founder of Google or My Space (although that would be pleasan! Has anyone else experienced this? Or can anyone offer me any help in how to overcome this. All comments would be genuinely apprecaited |

| Hi, Well, I am on the same path as yourself. My desires are the same. I want to be financially independent and developing multiple income streams is a secure way to do this. The fact that you have a lot of ideas but are not implementing any of them seems to me to be a sign of, what is it called..., analysis paralysis! That's the phrase! Just pick one! Listen, I can tell you this, if you start a website, based on a passion of yours and fill it with lots of excellent free content, you'll build yourself an income stream. Also, focus on the singular. Build one income stream. Then another. Then another. Just begin. Then finish. It really can be that simple. There will be struggle along the way, but the first step is to decide one path, take the path without looking back and finish till the end. Hope this helps!

| Roll your ideas around for a bit and see which ones you keep going back to. I come up with a zillion ideas and dismiss them almost as quickly. They're either not ready to be implemented or they aren't interesting or compelling enough for me to follow up with. If there is one main idea that you keep dweling on chances are it interests you. Sometimes we need to develop them a bit, work out the kinks and that's absolutely fine. If you're hesitating because you're worried about failing though..then jump in. Set a date for the research to stop and action to begin. Then do it. Sometimes you have to force yourself to take this step. One person I know got so concerned they had to lie down between launching the project, 3 times, but they pushed it and got it past the thinking stage. There was a bit of a phobia going on there and they needed a bit of support but they're off and running. |
