Default Opinions on my much slaved over website?

Hello to all,

This, I announce, is only my second post on this board.
Here goes:

I would greatly appreciate it if some or many of you would review my website at Website copywriter, content for your website - www.website-copy-writer.com

I have recently changed a few things, a few tweaks here and there.
I would love now to get some feedback.

Do you all generally like the site? Would you visit again? If so, why?
If not, why???

Much appreciated and I shall gladly return the favor in the future.

Ciara.

I just took a very brief look (I'm in the office and waiting for the computer to chug away on something).

On my computer (running Firefox 2.0.0.7) the images all move to the right hand side of the screen with a scroll bar at the bottom. I can't be sure if that's intentional or not.

I think you're underpricing yourself. Depending upon the venue, copywriters here in Canada usually get about $0.30/word. (Obviously, that's dependent upon the market so what works here may not work where you are.)

Lastly - and this is personal preference only - I think that maybe using positive phraseology may be a bit more effective. For instance:
Quote:
My personal policies, or those relevant here, are that one should not be greedy when deciding on ones pricing scheme.
may be better phrased as;
Quote:
My pricing policies are specifically designed to create the highest value for your money.
See the difference?

Just my $0.02...

That's just the kind of $.02 that I'm looking for. Thanks!
I am interested to hear what you say about my price. I really have not been sure at what price I should put on my service.
I had it at $90 per article, which for me is reasonable, as I really put quality into my articles, but yet, I got no response to that price.

Any further opinions on my price are greatly welcomed.

It's clean, crisp and functional...displaying correctly on firefox 1024 resolution.

The Domain Name is long, but memorable and simple...

You can spell. Damn. That's rare! The amount of copy-writers and "Poofreaderz" I have laughed at as a relative noobie to the Art is ridiculous - as you've most probably found for yourself online many times.

The only advice I could offer is throw some more humour around, a few pertinent pictures for a less sterile feel etc etc, but it's all cosmetic and additional to the fact you've made a great website to sell your services, and I hope it's servicing you well!

Good luck!

Thank you for your kind and constructive posts, I appreciate the feedback and naturally, compliments are always welcomed.
I remain very interested as to what people think about the prices I charge; are the reasonable? Would you pay this?
(Price is $50 per article.)

I would also center the website instead of having it on the right site.

Without looking at the site, I would say raise your prices. You may feel they are reasonable, but charging a low price is like telling the universe "My services don't deserve to make me money." At a higher price tag, you make people feel like they're receiving more for their money. They also figure that you have lots of clientelle since you charge so much.

Thanks, Exploring the matrix,

I would be inclined to agree.
There are a few things I would like to tweak first on my site but yes, I think I should charge more.
So I will...
