Hi All, I would like to interview any bloggers who run a blog that has made +$50 so far. If you are interested, I would like to ask a few questions about how you did it and write a post about you on my blog (www.InspiredBlogger.com). The purpose of this is to demonstrate the different ways people have been able to make at least $50 from their blog. The interview questions will be emailed or PM'd to you and it should only take you a few minutes to answer them. The post will have a link to your site, and a nice write up. If there are others who have made bigger amounts like $100, $250, $1000, $10,000 etc. I welcome your messages as well. If you have such a blog, please let how I can contact you or PM me. |

68 Views of this thread and not one reply. Either nobody is making +$50 with their blog or they don't want to share if they are. Well... here's a little gem I found today that made me a quick $20: Make $20 With PayPerPost.com | Make Money Online with InspiredBlogger.com Maybe it will help someone crack that first $50 milestone. |

I believe in a very creative, cooperative model of the universe where there is abundance for everyone. I don't think "hiding the secret" is the path to success. For example, imagine if a healthy person hid the secret to being healthy. Why would he do that? Because he's worried that you're going to go out and buy all the green vegetables in the grocery store? It's not hard to figure out what's healthy, it's hard to get yourself to do it. Same with Blogging. Just because I report that something is working, it doesn't mean that it will stop working because everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Anyone I interview also has the option not to disclose what Niche they are in. They don't have to even say the name of their blog or their identity if they don't want to. I'm just looking for success patterns of what's worked for people for the greatest good of all, including the people who are contributing. Hope that helps to dispell any fears you might have about competition.

I posted my first interview with a blogger making between $600-$750 online. It's Jacob from Mind-Energy.net. Anyone interested can take a peek here: http://www.inspiredblogger.com/index...ind-energynet/ If you find the article valuable, Diggs / Stumbles are much appreciated! Thanks. |

Great interview, Paul! I really like your insight about the bloggers that are just now breaking through and thus have more relevant models that we can follow. I have an idea for an article or series you could write that would be valuable to new bloggers such as myself. I'm wondering what typical traffic should be in your first few months. I remember Darren on ProBlogger talking about how it seemed like in the beginning you are speaking to an empty room. I'm sure you understand how demotivating that is. If you could write about what is typical to expect for traffic and then maybe what to do if you are below that, that would be awesome. Did that make any sense? Oh, and I don't know if you changed it or not, but I really like the design you have now. I seem to remember a different, not so good looking design before, but I could be mistaken. |

Yes, your article idea is perfect. I've actually been thinking the exact same thing for a while now. Here's how I see it. Imagine you're a brand new Salesperson. You have no idea how to sell anything yet, you're just getting your feet wet. Ok, so you come to work on you first day and you see 3 other sales people. The other 3 are Tony Robbins, Zig Zigglar and Tom Hopkins. You're trying to sell your first order for $50 and they are selling $8.9 Million per month average. You go for lunch with them to see if you can get some pointers and they say "Oh it's easy kid, just send out an email to all your current clients and ask for referrals." and "Just make 100 phone calls per day and you'll build a client base." etc. Yeah...it's EASY for them, because they're already selling $8.9 Mill/month. THey are ALREADY sales superstars. You're still sitting there crapping your pants filled with doubt, wondering if you're in the right career, scared to go home without making a sale and thinking about how you're going to pay rent this month. Email to clients? You don't HAVE ANY CLIENTS! Make 100 phone calls? To WHO? What do you SAY? Then the next day you come to work and you meet Billy. He was sick the first day you were there. Billy is a new kid. He's been there for only 3 months, and he just sold $10,000 for the first time in his 3rd month. That pays him just enough in commissions to make sure his lights don't get turned off at home. You take Billy out for lunch and ask him for advice. Billy says "Ok, listen...here's what you do. There is a database of clients that we have who have fallen off the radar. The other sales guys don't want them because they are too small. A lot of them haven't even heard from us for years. A lot of them are actually quite furious. But here's what I do. I call up a former client, and I ask them why they don't order from us anymore. I really suck on the phone, but I just ask them 'Why don't you order from us anymore?' and usually they hang up on me. The thing is though that every once in a while I'll get a guy who doesn't hang up, he sits there and yells at me for 30 minutes, really angry for how the other reps treated him and just ditched him. I'll just sit there and listen...I have nothing else to do. I had one guy two months ago yell at me for 45minutes... I just listened. At the end of the conversation when he finished yelling I told him that I have no clients, and if he bought from me I would take care of him because he's my first and only client. I also told him I would shoot a rubber band at the sales guy he doesn't like here, and that eventually I want to overtake his sales on the sales board. So the guy gave me my first order, and also sent me 10 referrals and now I got $10k in sales this month!" See, the point I'm trying to make is that sometimes you can learn a lot more from a BILLY than a "Superstar". That's what I hope to achieve on my site. I will do my research and find the answers you are looking for Addict. Keep an eye on my site for it. Better yet, subscribe to my feed so I know I'm not talking to an "empty room" Thanks.

Hi there, I'd be happy to answer questions for you. I have two 'successful' blogs that make money in very different ways. One of them is a baseball team blog: Brew Crew Ball :: A Milwaukee Brewers Blog ...thanks to SEO-crazed ticket brokers, I make plenty of money from that. The other blog is called GMAT Hacks: Improve Your GMAT Score!. I don't have outside advertising, but it's a tremendously valuable marketing tool for me. I am a GMAT tutor, so it generates much of my business for me, and I have created a handful of PDF resources, which I sell through the site. I'm not in Pavlina territory yet, $$-wise, but if I had a day job, I could quit it There are prominent e-mail links on both of those sites if you'd like to contact me. Thanks! |

My pleasure. Thanks for including me. I look forward to reading more of these features on your site. (And maybe I got some karma out of the deal, too: I just closed a new advertising deal for $600/yr for my baseball blog.) |
