I am at a point where I try to avoid PD books like the pest, so I guess I don't read them anywhere.
All the ideas on the subject (including my own) are mostly rehashes of other people's ideas and rarely add anything substantial that I don't already know. And, I'm sure that most people reading PD books already know this as well, but they are mostly just trying to find an excuse to delay doing something with the excuse that they are 'motivating themselves' to do what they should already be doing.

The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.

The skeptic does not mean him who doubts, but him who investigates or researches, as opposed to him who asserts and thinks that he has found.
