In my mind I can see the darkness around me
It calls to me and hides my heart away
The long night scares the child in my dreams
He whispers his name but I cannot hear
The shadows creep to overtake him
He screams in pain as their touch burns him
Down he falls, drowning in the dark
I try and create a door for him to escape
But the darkness overtakes him and he falls to the ground motionless
I awake, but all I see is darkness around me
