Going raw is easier said than done. The only advice I can give you is trust your instincts. If something tastes cooked, once you've been on the raw diet long enough, you will know. Buying produce is a sure-fire way to ensure that what you eat is raw. If you are committed to lifelong health, maple syrup is probably not the best thing for you anyway. Up the vegetables, nuts, and seeds, and just make sure they are raw. Call the company and ask. If you are eating 100% raw anyway, a couple of cooked nuts/seeds won't kill you anyway, but the principle is very important. One (time-consuming) suggestion is to buy the nuts you eat in the shell. Hope you have a nutcracker available.
