My favorite subject, music and songwriting. |
Well, my personal view is that songwriter are "channels", they "receive" the music from "somewhere" (Brian Wilson says the songs are floating in the air). And bring them to this world, in spite they don't know what they mean. It is VERY usual that a songwriter writes some lyrics and he doesn't know at all what they mean, but he doesn't change them. And maybe even years later he realizes.
And the funny thing is that sometimes we don't know what they mean either, but somehow we feel it.
The Beatles and Queen, for instance believed in theirselves, when there was no reason really, they were sure of their success, to a point people thought they were crazy. The Beatles repeated after every failure "Where are we going? To the toppermost of the poppermost!!!", till they really did. It is the most famous example of the Law of Atraction I know and how I started to thinking about it, before ever hearing about LoA... and I think no-one had written about it yet. The Secret was not a secret...
